Station One is located immediately adjacent to the Fire Department Headquarters, along the Park Street corridor into Alameda, protecting the Fernside District, Southshore and the east end of the main island. Also within the response area of Station One is Government Island: home of the United States Coast Guard's San Francisco Marine Safety Office. Station One houses an engine and truck company, along with an ambulance and the Duty Chief, and is the busiest fire station in the City.
